Minimum Requirement

• PhD in Molecular and Cellular Biology, Immunology, or related fields.
• Experience in mammalian and bacterial cell culture.
• Familiarity with gene editing techniques such as CRISPR-Cas9.
• Experience in isolating Bone Marrow Derived Macrophages and Primary Cell Culture.
• Familiarity with flow cytometry (FACS machine) and data analysis.
• Competence in real-time PCR and western blot.
• Proficiency in immunofluorescent microscopy.
• Ability to write scientific articles.
• Strong organizational and project management skills.
• Excellent communication skills in English.

General Job Description

• Studying the interaction between AHR signaling and macrophage metabolism.
• Exploring AHR activation/inhibition influences cellular processes such as energy metabolism, nutrient sensing, and inflammatory responses.
•  Utilizing cutting-edge techniques including gene editing by CRISPR-Cas9. 
• Isolating Bone Marrow Derived Macrophages, and advanced imaging modalities such as immunofluorescent microscopy, 
• Assessing the regulatory networks governing macrophage behavior. 
• Contributing to high-impact research projects, publishing findings in leading scientific journals, and presenting results at national and international conferences.
