Job description

Materials in nuclear technological installations are exposed to high doses of ionizing radiation. For the design of sustainable solutions, knowledge about how radiation affect materials is necessary. The work in this project is focused on experimental studies of radiation induced chemical processes in systems for reprocessing of used nuclear fuel. This includes studies of the radiation chemistry of liquids and liquid-mixtures of relevance in reprocessing and studies of radiation induced corrosion of solid materials in contact with these liquids.

What we offer

  • A position at a leading technical university that generates knowledge and skills for a sustainable future
  • Engaged and ambitious colleagues along with a creative, international and dynamic working environment
  • Work in Stockholm, in close proximity to nature
  • Help to relocate and be settled in Sweden and at KTH
