Faculty Position - Medical Technology
Department Medical & Health Technologies
Your duties
- Online and in-class teaching in both German and English
- Supervising of academic papers, student theses and student projects
- Research and publication activities
- Acquisition of research and practical projects
- Participation in quality assurance and university processes
- Active involvement in the development and expansion of the study programs in medical, health and sports technology
- Development / establishment of a research module in the research focus area of Health Technologies
- Maintaining contacts to industry and expansion of our cooperation network
Your profile
- University degree at least diploma/or master's degree, doctorate advantageous
- Teaching, research and professional experience in the areas of medical product development, medical device regulations, medical informatics, eHealth/telemedicine as well as design, modeling and simulation
- Distinct communicative and didactic skills
- High attraction to teaching and to new media and forms of learning
- Excellent command of German and English
- Pleasure in dealing with students and enthusiasm for teaching and research
- Teamwork and customer service orientation with a results-driven focus

- Depending on qualifications and experience, we offer a total annual gross salary for the position of research assistent of at least € 44.800, for the position of a junior professor (PhD required) of at least € 58.800, for the position of a professor at least € 70.000
- The awarding of a professorship is independent of the conclusion of a contract of employment and is subject to an expert procedure. Corresponding evidence in the fields of teaching, research and practice is also required
