About the ABS:

The Africa Business School is a leading institution dedicated to fostering excellence in business education and research across the African continent. We are committed to driving impactful research that addresses key challenges and opportunities for economic development in Africa.

As part of our mission, we are collaborating with the Growth Lab at the Harvard Kennedy School to leverage expertise and resources for advancing research in economics and development.

**Role Overview:**

We are seeking a highly motivated and qualified Postdoctoral Research Fellow to join our team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in coordinating the research collaboration between the Africa Business School and the Growth Lab at Harvard Kennedy School. The primary focus of this position will involve data collection and analysis using Moroccan administrative data to contribute to ongoing research projects.

**Key Responsibilities:**

- Coordinate and facilitate collaboration between the Africa Business School and the Growth Lab at the Harvard Kennedy School.

- Interact with counterparts in data collection efforts in the Moroccan ecosystem.

- Conduct rigorous data analysis to generate insights and findings relevant to economic development.

- Collaborate with researchers from both institutions to contribute to joint research projects.

- Contribute to the dissemination of research findings through academic publications, presentations, and policy briefs.

- Provide mentorship and support to graduate students and research assistants involved in related projects.

**Qualifications:**

- A Ph.D. in Economics or a related field.

- Strong background in quantitative research methods and data analysis.

- Experience with data collection and analysis using administrative data is highly desirable.

- Demonstrated interest and expertise in economic development, particularly in the context of Morocco and Africa.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, interdisciplinary research environment.

- Fluency in English; proficiency in French or Arabic is a plus.
