About College of Computing:

The College of Computing is a central component of the University Mohammed VI Polytechnic (UM6P) with campuses in Benguerir and Rabat. The goal of the school is to set up an unprecedented research-education program, of international level, to address the UM6P challenges in terms of research and education, covering all aspects of computer science, including artificial intelligence, machine learning, data sciences, algorithms, databases, cloud computing, software engineering, networking, operating systems and security.

Job Description :

 UM6P invites applications for a professor position (at all ranks) in all areas of computer science. A successful candidate will be expected to lead a research team of graduate students as well as teach at the undergraduate and graduate levels. The position is open to individuals with a PhD degree from a recognized university and with substantial expertise in computer science.  Qualified candidates will be recruited according to their academic accomplishments. For applications at the assistant professor level, candidates should demonstrate excellent research potential. Candidates at more senior levels should in addition have an established record of outstanding research achievements. 

Criteria of the candidate:

• PhD in Computer Science with a relevant experience as postdoctoral researcher.
• Experience in one of these areas: artificial intelligence, machine learning, data sciences, algorithms, databases, cloud computing, software engineering, networking, operating systems and security.
• Prove ability to perform multidisciplinary research and contribute to funded research programs.
• Good English communication skills, both verbal and written are important.
