Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences
Lab Manager (f/m/x)
CECAD Research Center / Uhlirova Lab
We are one of the largest and oldest universities in Europe and one of the most important employers in our region. Our broad range of subjects, the dynamic development of our main research areas and our central location in Cologne make us attractive for students and researchers from around the world. We offer a wide range of career opportunities in science, technology, and administration.
The Uhlirova lab (www.uni-koeln.de/inter-fak/cecad/uhlirova/) is dedicated to investigating the impact of stress on various aspects of development, homeostasis, aging, and disease progression. Our research primarily focuses on deciphering the complex role of stress-inducible signalling pathways and the mechanisms that govern gene expression. We employ a comprehensive approach that integrates functional genetics using both Drosophila and mouse models, as well as a wide range of techniques spanning molecular and cell biology, multi-omics analyses, advanced microscopy, and bioinformatics. We seek a highly motivated applicant (f/m/x) to play a central role in supporting our research initiatives and contributing to ongoing laboratory projects.
