In this role, you will work at the intersection of health, data, and collaboration between partners such as the City of Ghent, UZ Gent, iMEC, Ghent University (UGent), and CIRRA.
Your role is diverse and combines logistics, coordination, and communication:

• You support the preparation and follow-up of ethical applications.
• You actively contribute ideas to optimize the functioning of the project and help enhance its quality and impact.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
• You hold a Master’s degree, preferably in a field such as Health Sciences, Healthcare Management, Medicine, Pharmaceutical Care, Epidemiology, Global Health, Social Sciences, or another relevant domain.
• You have a strong affinity with public health and data (processing), and a keen interest in scientific research.
• You work in a structured, accurate, and independent way, while also being a true team player who is not afraid to take initiative.
• You have excellent communication skills in both Dutch and English.
• You enjoy variety in your work, switch easily between meetings and hands-on tasks, and have a sharp eye for quality and efficiency.
• You are solution-oriented, enjoy working in a large team, and are open to new ideas and perspectives.
• You will join an enthusiastic and motivated team, with the opportunity to develop an engaging and varied job. You’ll have the chance to help further expand our Core Facility.
WHAT WE CAN OFFER YOU
• We offer you a contract of definite duration for the period from 1 year for 50%.
• Your contract will start on 1/08/2025 at the earliest.
• Your remuneration will be determined by salary scale WM1 to WM4. Click here for more information about our salary scales.
