Deliver analog front-end integrated circuit designs using scaled-CMOS targeting Optical IO transceivers for AI/ML applications.
We are looking for a motivated and dynamic analog IC designer, who will focus on the design of circuits such as modulator drivers, transimpedance amplifiers, continuous-time linear equalizers, variable gain amplifiers etc. You will collaborate closely with the photonic device teams to understand how to co-optimize your designs to achieve best-in-class energy efficiency (pJ/bit), low-noise operation (in case of the receiver electronics), density (expressed as e.g. shoreline density Tb/s/mm) etc. For the designs you will use a cutting-edge scaled-CMOS process, with some adaptations in the back-end of line to enable the use of advanced hybrid bonding integration approaches.
