Laboratory Technician

We are looking for a proactive and organized laboratory manager! Responsibilities include validating Leco CN and Skalar nutrient analyzers. We require experience in validating chemical methods. We offer friendly colleagues and good introduction.

The job responsibilities include the commissioning and validation of the Leco CN analyzer. The task also involves validating the Skalar nutrient analyzer for the following methods: PO4-P, Ptot, SO4, and chloride in water samples, and NO3 and NH4 in KCl extracts. Additionally, the job duties may include basic laboratory measurements of soil, plant, and water samples, and potentially greenhouse gas measurements using gas chromatography. The employee may also participate, if needed, in various laboratory maintenance tasks in accordance with the quality management system (temperature monitoring, calibrations) and risk assessments.

Our expectations of the applicant

Successful performance of the role requires a laboratory analyst degree or a relevant bachelor's degree, previous work experience in a laboratory environment, and knowledge of the SFS-EN ISO/IEC 17025 standard. Previous experience in the validation of chemical methods is required. Experience with quality and laboratory information systems, the development of chemical-related occupational safety and proficiency in English are valued. Experience with gas chromatographic methods and environmental analytics is considered an advantage.
