Your Tasks

  • You establish and lead an interdisciplinary research group at ECH (European Campus Hainburg)
  • You develop and implement a competitive research agenda aligned with the ECH vision and USTP strategy
  • You recruit and supervise a research team including up to five PhD candidates
  • You initiate collaborative research activities with TU Wien (https://www.tuwien.at/tch/tch-forschung) and European alliance partners (http.//eudres.eu, https://eulist.university/)
  • You develop real-world pilot applications, projects and demonstrators in living lab environments, in collaboration with and within the community
  • You acquire third-party funding following the base-funded build-up phase
  • You integrate research results into innovative teaching formats and interdisciplinary study programs

Your offer to us

  • Doctoral degree (PhD or equivalent) in a relevant field
  • Strong international research profile and track record
  • Demonstrated ability to develop an original research vision and translate it into a strategic agenda
  • Experience in interdisciplinary and applied research environments
  • Proven success in acquiring or contributing to competitive research projects
  • Leadership potential and interest in building a new research group from the ground up
  • Commitment to European collaboration and innovative higher-education formats
  • Excellent proficiency in English (spoken and written)
