Department of Methodology and Psychological Assessment

Number of teaching hours: 240

Duties:

• conducting scientific research
• obtaining funds for scientific research
• publishing research results in scoring journals and monographs
• perfecting the research workshop
• teaching, especially in the fields of Introduction to Psychology, Psychology of Human Development, Methodology of Psychological Research
• organizational activities for the benefit of the Department
• perfecting the workshop of an academic teacher
• developing original programs of classes
• organizing the didactic process
• organizing conferences and scientific seminars

Requirements: 

• Master's degree in the discipline of psychology or related fields, 
  and initiated training in a doctoral school in the discipline of psychology enabling the completion of a doctoral degree no later than within 2 years
• teaching experience in one of the following areas: Introduction to Psychology / Fundamentals of Psychology, Psychology of Human Development or Methodology of Psychological Research
• experience in active participation in scientific conferences
  possession of scientific achievements in the field of psychology certified by publications in peer-reviewed journals with impact factor
• fluent knowledge of the Polish language
• readiness to teach on weekdays and/or weekends
• commitment to declare employment at the SWPS University as the primary place of work

Required documents:

• CV with a list of teaching, scientific and organizational achievements  with direct reference to the eligibility criteria stated above
• scan or photo of a document confirming receipt of a master's degree 
• a document certifying completion of the first two years of doctoral school  in the discipline of psychology
• statement confirming knowledge of a foreign language at the required level

Formal criteria:

• academic achievements - 30% of the final assessment
• teaching achievements - 50% of the final assessment
• organizational and practical achievements - 20% of the final assessment
