Duties:
- teaching Korean language and Korea-related classes
- developing original class curricula
- preparing and conducting Korean language tests, final assessments, and examinations
- maintaining contact and collaborating with the Embassy of the Republic of Korea and the Korea Cultural Center
- participating in the organizational work of the teaching staff, specifically at the Faculty of Humanities in Warsaw
- pursuing professional development in the areas of teaching and research
- participating in activities that promote knowledge about the Korean Peninsula
Requirements:
- professional title of Master or doctoral degree in (Korean) culture and religion studies or other disciplines of the humanities and social sciences
- Korean-language proficiency at a level equivalent to that of a native speaker
- more than 1 year of experience teaching classes
- fluency in the Polish OR English language
- a high level of digital competencies, including very good computer skills and readiness to learn new applications
- a declaration of SWPS University being the primary place of employment
Nice to have:
- academic achievements in the disciplines of culture and religion studies or linguistics
- a certificate in teaching Korean as a foreign language
- experience working in the area of business
- proficiency in using the Google Workspace environment
