Your Responsibilities

  • Writing a dissertation at the University of Graz in the area of Adult and continuing education
  • Participation in research projects and initiatives in the field of Education, gender and social transformation (e.g. digitalisation and artificial intelligence / digital & AI literacies, the design gender- and diversity-reflective educational processes and spaces)
  • Independent publication and conference presentations
  • Contributing to  the application of third-party funded projects
  • Independent teaching of courses and exams within the Bachelor's programme at the Institute of Educational Science
  • Supervision of students
  • Participation in organizational and administrative tasks as well as in evaluation measure

Your Profile

  • Completed diploma or master’s degree in educational or social science
  • Profound knowledge in the fields of education, gender and social transformation
  • Scientific interest in working on current research questions on digital transformation processes and artificial intelligence in education and training processes from a gender and diversity-sensitive perspective
  • Basic knowledge in the field of empirical-social research (qualitative and reconstructive research as well as mixed-method approach)
  • Knowledge of higher education didactics and gender-reflective teaching
  • Excellent German and English language skills for teaching, conferences and publications
  • Independent working style and high level of initiative
  • Strong teamwork and organizational skills
  • Interdisciplinary unterstanding

We offer an annual gross salary of at least € 52,007.20 for a fulltime position. An overpayment based on qualification and experience is possible.
