Your Responsibilities
- Writing a dissertation at the University of Graz in the field of educational sciences
- Participation in the research unit “Empirical Education Research”
- Co-supervision of academic theses
- Teaching: organization of and assistance in courses, supervision of students, particularly with quantitative analysis of empirical data, assistance with exams
- Administration: Involvement in administrative tasks
Your Profile
- Diploma or Master’s degree in pedagogy, psychology or in a comparable field with equal professional qualification
- Planned dissertation
- Experience in conception and organization of empirical research projects
- Main focus in the field of school research/empirical education research
- Outstanding knowledge of empirical social research methods
- Advanced competence in statistical methods and computer programs for analysis of quantitative and qualitative empirical data (e.g. SPSS)
- Sound knowledge of computerized literature search and data analysis
- High proficiency of written and spoken English and German
- Willingness to cooperate, teamwork and organizational skills

We offer an annual gross salary of at least € 52.007,20 for a fulltime position. An overpayment based on qualification and experience is possible.
