Your Responsibilities
- Research in the field of Pharmaceutical Chemistry / Biochemistry / Molecular Biology / Computational Biology / Bioinformatics; independent research and contribution to collaborative projects in the network pharmacology group (basic research)
- Participation in the writing of scientific articles and reports as well as research proposals
- Participation in teaching, holding lectures, seminars and supervision of practical exercises
Your Profile
- PhD or Doctorate in a field of the Life sciences, computational biology, bioinformatics, or similar
- Excellent practical knowledge in molecular biology, biochemistry or cell biology and / or excellent practical knowledge in programming and advanced knowledge of computational biology/bioinformatics methods, e.g. analytical and statistical methods, machine learning in bioinformatics, or biological data integration approaches (in genomics & proteomics)
- Excellent English skills
- Successful authorship contribution(s) in scientific publications (desirable)
- International experience (desirable)
- Didactic qualification in undergraduate teaching (desirable)
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills as well as willingness to work in a team
- Attention to detail
- Satisfaction gained from research and teaching
- Willingness to advance conceptual and writing skills
