Shanghai Institute of Visual Arts was born in 2005. Formerly known as Shanghai Institute of Visual Arts of Fudan University, in April 2013, with the approval of the Ministry of Education, our school was officially transformed into an independent general undergraduate institution of higher learning: Shanghai Institute of Visual Arts. She is a product of the world trend and the voice of the times in line with the development of culture and art. As the only one in ShanghaiA comprehensive visual art college, she will lead the artistic concept of big vision, build a platform for big visual art creativity, and cultivate outstanding artistic talents in accordance with the school motto of "loyalty, excellence, innovation, and harmony".

As a new art academy with new ideas, new systems, new models and new mechanisms, Shanghai Institute of Visual Arts is committed to exploring an open school-running model that is close to the industry and integrated into the society, and a talent training model of industry-university cooperation and resource sharing.
