University of Urbino

The University of Urbino, the ideal Renaissance city, dates back to 1506 and is well-known for its lively and stimulating campus-town perfectly suited for student life and for research. Today the University of Urbino is a State University, is structured in 6 Departments and has about 15,000 students, both Italian and foreign. It offers students and scholars a wide range of courses and research opportunities, mainly in pure and applied science, humanities and social sciences. The Department of Economics, Society, Politics and the Department of Law develop research and teaching programs based on effective multidisciplinary approach and innovative content, in the light of the changing context and the new learning needs for those aiming at a career in the academic, business and institutional settings.
