Working practice-oriented and in small groups, Hamm-Lippstadt University of Applied Sciences offers high-quality study programmes with a clear orientation towards current and future market requirements. The young team of professors is practically experienced. With an interdisciplinary setup, teaching focuses on both the promotion of individual strengths and the imparting of social competences, such as team work. From the start, great importance is attached to project-oriented working. Last but not least, creativity and communication are important factors required to prepare engineers for the future.

Continuously growing

Having started with over 80 students in two study programmes in 2009, the university continues to grow quickly. Currently about 2,300 study in different study programmes with focus on engineering sciences. The bachelor programmes "Energy Engineering and Resource Optimisation", "Biomedical Engineering","Technical Management and Marketing", "Intelligent Systems Design" and "Sports and Healthcare Engeneering" are taught on the Campus Hamm, "Mechatronics", "Industrial Engineering with Business Studies", "Computational Visualistics and Design", "Material Design - Bionics and Photonics" and "Social Media and Communication Informatics" on the Campus Lippstadt. Master programmes are "Product and Asset Management" and "Applied Biomedical Engineering" as well as "Business and Systems Engineering". We are looking forward to welcome young, curious, open, creative people who are hungry to learn and will enjoy setting the course for the future – in teams and small groups, practice-oriented, in the middle of North Rhine-Westphalia.
